blend is what we recommend for systems dealing with dinos, Cyanobacteria, or benthic
diatoms (diatoms on the sand bed, rocks and glass). It does a great job at starving them
out by outcompeting for nutrients. If dealing with dinos please reach out. There are 5
main strains of dinos that we encounter in the hobby, and you need to approach them
in one of 2 ways (silicate dosing or uv).
